The night grows longer. The day shorter. The temperature goes down as the thermostat goes up.

Winter is almost here.

Snow is forecasted. Mittens and caps are all pulled from the shelves. We bundle up a little more each day.

Winter is almost here.

No more hiking. No more trekking. No more walking in the woods.

Yep. Winter is almost here.

It’s almost time for the snow pants. It’s almost time for the heavy coats. It’s almost time for the snowshoes.

That’s because winter is almost here.

With the change of season comes an end to hiking. No more Rocky Mountain National Park. No more Waterton Canyon.

It’s too cold, because winter is almost here.Hiking Colorado White Ranch Open Space

No more Castlewood Canyon. No more Cherry Creek State Park. No more White Ranch Open Space.

Anna won’t like that winter is almost here.

That’s all right. It’s okay. We can find other fun things to do.

Never mind the before, we’re excited that winter is almost here.

Anna loves to run. She loves to bounce. She loves to wrestle about.

And our visits to the dog park will be all that much more fun now that winter is almost here.Anna Snow

If I tried to build one Anna would destroy it before I finished. It’d be too much fun not to! 🙂
