Atlanta, Minneapolis, New York City; all week, people have been complaining about the snow and the cold. Heck, who am I kidding? If you live in Minneapolis, you’ve whined about it all winter long – and, despite knowingly living in such a frozen place, you’re justified in doing so. It’s been bitter cold. Denver doesn’t normally get that cold, but we had a week-long snap in the beginning of December when it didn’t get much above zero for a week. That’s pretty out of the norm for us. Usually we hit fifties once or twice, melting all of the snow, and then hang around forty or so with the occasional snow storm or cold day here or there. Well, this week we’re going to be frozen with the rest of the country. After last night’s snowstorm, which, while not nearly as heavy as predicted, turned brown and green to white. Now we’re not expected to get above freezing again for a week. Woe is me? Not so much. Sure, I’d prefer the warm sandy beaches of Hawaii, but who wouldn’t? And really, this isn’t so bad. Plus, Anna really likes bouncing and playing around in it before coming back in and curling up in a nice, warm spot.
No complaints here. It looks like your dog is enjoying it too. Bring on the snow.
