Anna and I were joined by some friends this last weekend as we hiked up to Fish Creek Falls in Steamboat Springs. Our collective jaws dropped – including those of the dogs – when we rounded the corner and got out first glimpse of the falls through the trees and beyond the wooden bridge. What follows is the tough stuff, but this short jaunt is easy to do. So if you’re heading to the Steamboat area, be sure to stop off to see this place. I can easily say it’s one of the most beautiful spots I’ve seen in my 14 years here in Colorado.
Yet another great find in the beautiful Colorado. It sounds like a great day’s exercise with a fitting reward at the end.
It definitely was a lot of fun. This whole week has been, as we just completed our seventh hike in seven days. Nice to be off yet hang around the area.
Beautiful waterfall. I love finding unexpected beauty. Reminds me of a waterfall I came across in Ohio that made my mouth gape.
